Listing Assets for Sale/Lease
You have two options to help you find the one that best fit your needs – (a. Manual Upload and (b. Bulk Upload. For either option, select “Add Asset” from the Asset tab on your Seller Dashboard. Note: You can edit your assets from your Seller Dashboard at any time.
For Manual Upload, see our explanatory article here.
- Bulk Upload Template
The bulk upload template is a spreadsheet (specifically a .csv file) with columns for each asset attribute. Each unit will have its own row. The spreadsheet can be downloaded by clicking the "Download Template" button on the the Add Asset page.
Once the spreadsheet is completed, simply upload it by clicking the “Bulk Upload Assets” button.
- You cannot enter any value more than 255 characters except for the Description column which has size limit of 1000 characters.
- Required columns that support boolean values (Yes or No) will by default be given a “No” value, if input is not provided.
(Please see the Asset Attribute section below for the values allowed in each column.)
If there are errors with the upload, an "Error File" will be available for download from the "Bulk Upload File Status" tab. The fields with errors will be indicated by an error response in each field containing an error. Once those errors are corrected, you can re-upload your template.
2. Bulk Photos/Documents
Simply upload zipped (.zip) photo and document files with appropriate file names and we will automatically link them with the correct listing. To do this, include your Seller Asset ID in the name of the folder that contains the pictures for each unit.
[Note that the file size must be 50 mb or less. As a result, you may have to break your images/documents up into multiple .zip files for large uploads.]
a. File Type/Uses
When bulk uploading photographs and documents for your unit, ModuGo will search the file name of the uploaded file to determine the correct use/placement for your photo or document. Specifically, use the following key words in the name of the file you upload and it will be placed in the correct location for the listing. File names containing the word(s):
- “main” – will be used as the primary photo for the unit (i.e. “CR12345 Main”)
- “floor” and “plan” – will be placed in the documents section under Floor Plan
- “info” and “sheet” – will be placed in the documents section under Info Sheet
Any photos that do not have one of the designations above will be placed in the photos section for that unit. Any non-image files that do not have one of the designations above will be placed in the "Other" document section of the asset listing.
Each asset attribute has its own column. The Asset Attributes and their allowed values are enumerated below.
a. Asset Identity
b. Required Attributes
*Note that the unit address, city, state, zip are not required if a "Site Name" is provided. In that case, the Site's address will be used. You can manage your Sites from your General Settings tab.
